Born and raised in Mukilteo. I graduated from Cascade High School in Everett in 1965 and spent the next several years at the University of Washington pursuing a degree in history. In 1970 I headed to Lake Tahoe to indulge my passion for skiing as an instructor at Squaw Valley– a passion that turned into a 35 year career in tourism and travel. At Lake Tahoe I founded a destination management company that catered to the incentive travel and corporate meeting markets. Later, as Executive Director of Ski Lake Tahoe, I was responsible for the national and international promotion of Lake Tahoe's winter season. Upon my return to the Northwest I joined Doug Fox Travel as Director of Marketing and in 1985 was a member of the management trio that founded Mutual Travel for Washington Mutual Bank. Now, as a Realtor affiliated with Windermere Real Estate, I am applying my customer service, marketing and management experience to the sale and purchase of real estate on Whidbey Island. Selecting a real estate broker, and a sales agent, may be THE single most important decision you make during the process of selling or buying real estate.
