I have lived on Whidbey Island since 1988

I have lived on Whidbey Island since 1988 with my husband, Eric Hansen, and our children Bryce, Britt, and Jennifer. Prior to moving to Whidbey Island, we had lived in Ballard, with a brief 18-month stint on San Juan Island. I am a University of Washington graduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. I taught at Blanchet High School in Seattle for 10 years before moving to the island. When all of our children were in school, I began working for the South Whidbey School District as a substitute teacher. I did this for 7 years(except for the year we took off and sailed with our children to Mexico and French Polynesia). However, turning 50 sometimes does "strange" things to people and for me it was making a career change. After obtaining my Real Estate license, I joined Windermere, the leading Real Estate company in Washington. I have since completed over 90 hours of continuing education through Windermere Education , WSU Extension, and the Whidbey Island Assoc. of Realtors. I enjoy working with people and as your real estate sales associate, I will provide my undivided attention and commitment to you. I will do my best to help you meet your goal of buying or selling a house and I will follow through until the transaction closes, guiding you along the way.
