In 1991 the British Royal Air Force sent us to Whidbey Island "on exchange". Of all the places that my airline career & my husband's military moves had taken us this fabulous corner of the world was where we wanted to call "home". We returned permanently in 2000 & each day on the beach with our dog my spirit soars with pure delight.
