As Designated Broker / Owner, I do not list or sell property. My responsibility is to hire great people and give them the best training, resources and tools available. Because I am involved daily in managing our office, I am able to match specific client needs to a Realtor best suited to provide the highest level of service. Working in a small community such as Central Whidbey, gives us a broad exposure to many segments of the real estate market. Our Realtors have many years of experience, and are leaders in our community. We are heavily involved in our Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Soroptimists, Boys and Girls Clubs, and many other organizations that benefit our community. We also contribute a portion of all sales to the Windermere Foundation which helps homeless families right here in our community.
I have a BA in Business Admin from the University of Washington. I am a former CPA, and worked briefly in public accounting (KPMG Peat Marwick) before finding a career with Windermere Services Company as the corporate controller. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, and have been appointed by the Washington State Supreme Court to the Limited Practice Board to serve a four year term beginning Jan 2007. When not working, I am actively involved with raising our four-year-old son and one-year-old daughter.
